The title says it all! When you can't find the sunshine, be the sunshine! Read below to find out 5 ways to be the sunshine...

1.) Smile! (Check out the "Fake It 'til You Make It" post.)

2.) Be Positive:Look at the glass half full. See if there's anything good in the situation and focus on that. Example: I can't go anywhere because of the corona virus, but I do more time to spend outside.

3.) Be Thankful! Make a list of all the things you're thankful for! Here's a few to get you started...

A.) Clean Water: Did you know in a lot of 3rd world countries clean water, even just to drink, is hard to find?

B.) Shelter: Did you know that their are about 4 million homeless people in the US?

C.) Sunshine: Gotta love that Cali sun(:

D.) Food: Did you know that 815 million people in the world suffer from starvation?

E.) School: C'mon I know you miss it now that you don't get to come!

F.) Having People Who Care About You: Sadly, I know that some of you might argue that you don't feel like you have this one. I may not know your exact situation, but I know that I care about you! I know that our CES staff cares about you!

4.) Serve others: This benefits you and others! You will feel good after doing something nice for some one else, it's called the joy of giving!

5.) Say and listen to uplifting things: Try saying things that make you and other people feel good such as compliments, jokes, encouraging quotes, positive words, etc. You should also listen to uplifting things such as positive music, watching happy TV shows/movies that have an uplifting message, and to the best of your ability surround yourself with positive people.
